As you may be aware, the team recently completed its trek through every warband in the game (as of July 2024) and ranked all of them in our Nemesis tier list! For reference, these tiers were defined as follows:
S: Busted. Warband(s) is/are head-and-shoulders above the rest of the pack to the point where game balance adjustments need to be considered. Extreme ceiling/high floor picks that define the meta.
A: Excellent. Not a surprise to see some or all of these warbands at a Grand Clash and to see them podium/win the event. High ceiling/high floor picks that have few, if any, very bad matchups against top meta threats.
B: Solid. Warbands that have competitive viability and do not put the pilot at an unrecoverable competitive disadvantage. High ceiling/mid-to-low floor picks that can win events in the hands of skilled players, but have exploitable weaknesses/matchups in the meta that will make doing so harder than with higher ranked warbands.
C: Below Average. Warbands that struggle to provide consistently good results in the format. Mid-High ceiling/low-to-mid floor picks that could possibly win an event but would likely need a lot of luck to do so, even when piloted by an experienced player.
D: Bad. Warbands that have next to no competitive viability. Mid ceiling/low floor picks that would be extreme surprises to see podium, much less win an event.
